MTS- HOSPITALITY, INC. (Owner) 1987 – 2001

Owned and managed telephone systems through Florida, either buying the system new or paying hotel for existing system. Provided cabling, wiring, invoicing and support.

MTS – TAMPA, INC. (Owner) 1984 - 1992

Provided shared telephone services (PBX, local lines, long distance and on-site support) to six large office buildings in Tampa. Each office did cabling and inter-office wiring, moves and changes, billing and sales.

BLOUNT, INC. (Corporate MIS Director) 1979 – 1984

Blount, Inc. is a billion dollar construction and manufacturing company. Jim was responsible for corporate computer and telephone systems, and for coordinating these services in the company’s four business groups and 28 plants.

PRICE WATERHOUSE AND CO. (Senior Manager) 1970 – 1978

Responsible for designing and implementing computerized financial systems. Strong project management experience. Clients included US Postal Service, State of Missouri, Anheuser-Busch and Kellwood Co. Traveled extensively.

PERSONAL

Jim was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1943) and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1966. Married to Rosann. Enjoys playing tennis and golf. Author of two fiction novels; suspense, sports and business.
